What BridgeLink is

BridgeLink is a discovery marketplace. It connects people and businesses who need specialized help with experts who offer that help, using a dual-approval system.

BridgeLink is not an employer, agent, contractor, or partner of any expert or client. It is never a party to the work itself. Any agreement about scope, price, timeline, or results is made directly between the client and the expert.

How connection works

Clients post a request. BridgeLink identifies experts whose listed specialties match the request, and those experts are privately invited to express interest. Clients see only the experts who raised a hand.

A conversation opens only after both sides agree: the expert accepts the opportunity, then the client confirms that expert. Nobody can message you before that mutual approval.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, keep your credentials safe, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use BridgeLink.

Fees

BridgeLink is free for both clients and experts at launch. Posting requests, getting discovered, approving connections, and messaging cost nothing.

We may introduce fees later — for example, a one-time fee paid by the expert when a connection opens. If that happens, we will tell you clearly before any charge applies, and the terms in effect when you approve a connection will govern that connection.

Service areas

At launch, in-person service is limited to experts serving counties in Kansas and Missouri. Remote work has no location restriction.

What we do not promise

BridgeLink does not guarantee that any match will lead to work, or the quality, legality, or outcome of any work arranged between a client and an expert. BridgeLink does not supervise, insure, or warrant the services experts provide.

Verification badges describe what BridgeLink has confirmed (for example, a confirmed email address). They are not endorsements, licenses, or guarantees of skill or results.

Conduct

Do not use BridgeLink to spam, bid, flood anyone with proposals, or send unsolicited contact outside the approval flow.

Do not harass anyone, post false information, misrepresent your services, or break the law. We can suspend or remove accounts that do.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post — your profile, portfolio items, and requests. You grant BridgeLink the limited license needed to store, display, and share that content as part of running the service (for example, showing your profile in search results to signed-in users).

You may not post content you do not have the rights to, or content that is illegal, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.

Disclaimers and liability

BridgeLink is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BridgeLink disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from dealings between clients and experts.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to BridgeLink in the prior 12 months or $100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use BridgeLink after a change means you accept the updated terms.
