Terms of Service
Last updated: 7/27/2026
1. What Bridge is
Bridge is a marketplace that helps homeowners and independent contractors find each other. Bridge is not a party to any agreement, quote, or contract entered into between a homeowner and a contractor, and does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18+ and legally able to enter contracts. Contractors must self-attest that they hold all licenses and insurance required in their jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information.
3. Verification disclaimer
Bridge collects and displays license and insurance information provided by contractors. Bridge does not independently verify every claim and does not warrant that any contractor is qualified, licensed, insured, or trustworthy. Homeowners are responsible for their own due diligence before hiring.
4. Payments
When paid features are enabled, Bridge may charge contractors for subscriptions, per-match unlocks, or other services. All payments between homeowners and contractors for the actual work performed happen directly between them, outside of Bridge. Bridge is not responsible for these payments.
5. Acceptable use
No spam, harassment, misrepresentation, off-platform circumvention of paid features, scraping, or unlawful activity. Bridge may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Disputes between users
Any dispute about work quality, scope, timeline, payment, or damages is between the homeowner and the contractor. Bridge is not a court, mediator, or insurer.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bridge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Bridge's total liability is limited to the fees you paid to Bridge in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Bridge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
