Information we collect

Account: name, email, phone, role (homeowner or contractor), and chosen avatar.
Homeowner content: property address, job descriptions, photos, budgets, and messages.
Contractor content: trade, service area, bio, portfolio, license and insurance details.
Usage: log data (IP, browser, pages viewed) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To match homeowners and contractors and enable messaging once both sides approve.
To generate optional AI summaries, suggested budgets, and reply drafts.
To operate payments, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
To send transactional notifications about your account and matches.

Sharing

Information you provide as part of a job post or profile is shared with the other side of a match. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payments, AI) that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep account and match data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Your choices

You may update your profile at any time and request account deletion by emailing hello@bridgelink.community. Deletion removes personal profile data; anonymized transactional records may be retained where legally required.

Security

We use encryption in transit, row-level authorization on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is 100% secure — report suspected issues to hello@bridgelink.community.
